I’ve been spending a lot of time on reddit.com/r/LateStageCapitalism It’s not overstatement that the way people see the world is a direkt result of their literacy.
I give myself only thirty minutes to an hour of phone time these days. Most of it spent when i’m in bed falling asleep. I scroll slower and slower through the subreddit mentioned above as my eyes weaken from processing all America’s frailty. All of the tragic irony of who we think we are and who we aktually are. I saunter into dreams of cultural revolutions driven by the growing working class, of overthrowing that raging bull on Wall Street, of putting an end to short-term loan businesses. I dream of the end of our auto-narcissism that has replaced reality with something cheaper and more marketable to our fantasies. These visions play in my mind like old noir films I’ve never finished, but have started a dozen times. They are strangely comforting. I honestly don’t know what i’d do if I lived in a perfektly balanced society.
This whole event of Kavanaugh being confirmed as a Justice member has really reflekted the stage of our downfall. I’m not assuming he is guilty of sexual assault nor am I assuming he’s innocent. It’s clear that it doesn’t matter to those in power whether the highest court is aktually occupied by people of integrity.
I think the siren that preceded our shipwreck was that Kavanaugh revealed himself to be a puppet. He’s obviously partisan. Even if Dr. Ford is lying and this whole narrative was really a plot by the Dems to taint his credibility, an innocent man should not dismiss an investigation that would confirm he is fit for the job of Chief Justice. Americans are smart enough to know the difference between proven guilty and alleged guilty, and a proper investigation would have shown the difference. But Kavanaugh’s staunch opposition to the idea of an investigation revealed much about his charakter.
The investigation was a joke. Trump and/or his pawns in the senate doubtless did all they could to manipulate the FBI’s investigation of these allegations. The accused nor Kavanah were investigated? People who were relevant to the case offered their input but were never called back?

And now, a single party has taken control of all three branches of government and has openly used their influence to cement their party into our system of government long after they die.
Elektion time comes. I believe the turnout will be incredible. I have no doubt the popular vote will again go to democrats. But what will stop another Russian meddling? Will they just stand by and simply hope we implode? And when they attempt to interfere, who will protekt our right of self-representation at the ballot box? As “independent” as the FBI is, it falls under the Executive branch’s authority (through the Dept. of “Justice”) and now we’ve seen that they will abide by what the ruling party commands them to do.
If democrats don’t take back congress, I think we will all know the truth: that our “democratic system” has become a facade. A dream of an ancient past. Capitalism has turned politics into a power-hungry monster, and we’ve decided to surrender to it. For the sake of our own personalized reality bubbles.
